Every institute has a strong foundation and root which makes it grow in the society from which the students benefit. “Malwa College of Nursing” was laid by Dr. Ravinder Singh, born in 1968. He did his education in Ayurvedic Medicine of Surgery BAMS, from District Faridkot, after which he worked as a 'Medical officer' in Ran Singh Wala in Faridkot(1997). He had great concern for girl children and their education. To fulfill this need the founder "Dr. Ravinder Singh" and co-founder "Er. Jarnail Singh" registered "The Malwa Educational Society" under the Society Registration Act in 1998-99. In the year 2000, he started "Malwa Institute of Nursing" at Kotkapura, Faridkot, Punjab. For girls which later was formed into "Malwa College of Nursing". In the year 2005, Dr. Ravinder Singh died in a car accident and in his remembrance "Dr. Ravindra Institute of Nursing" Bajakhan was established by the co-founder Er. Jarnail Singh. Presently the Director of "Malwa College of Nursing" is Hargobind Singh. Initially this group focused was for girls but later they established colleges for boys too, focusing on co-ed education. Malwa College of Nursing offers different courses and programs which are state of the art and are crafted considered to meet the global standards and the fast changing world requirements.
