This College campus has natural surroundings and spread over 5 acres of area. Inside the campus separate wings for college and hostel, teaching block occupies as per INC norms. It also constructed three floors which are established away from the pollution and disturbance.
It is designed and constructed in such a way to facilitate student learning. It comprises of reading room, Journal section, facility of photo copying, internet browsing with good collection of latest addition of books & journals of both Indian and foreign publications
Every nursing department has its labs as per INC norms. The various laboratories are -Nursing foundation lab, Anatomy Lab, Nutrition Lab, Physiology and biochemistry lab, Fundamental lab, maternity lab, Pediatric lab, community lab, AVAids lab & Computer Lab. These labs enables the students to develop the psychomotor skills (Technical Skills) before the student have to practice on the patient.
Nursing Foundation Lab:-Nursing foundation lab is fully equipped with all the modern facilities and all the requirements are as per the INC norms. Inventory in the lab contains latest technology dummies with electronic appliances attached like sphygmomanometer, cardiac monitors etc. and the articles are in sufficient amount. Every student gets an opportunity to demonstrate procedures on dummies. Lab setting is excellent which gives a look similar to the hospital setting.
Anatomy & Physiology Lab:-Anatomy and physiology lab contains articulated and disarticulated skeletons ,different types of models like digestive system, kidneys, heart, functional eye ,orthodontics, joints & teeth models and charts related to different systems.
Microbiology Lab:-Microbiology lab consists of latest technology microscopes in the required number, different solutions used in preparing slides like methylene blue , ZN stain etc. Students are taught how to make slides for different tests & learn about the investigations that are conducted in the hospital like Hb testing, Blood grouping etc.
Nutrition Lab:-Nutrition lab is build up in such a way that it gives feeling of homely kitchen. It contains all the necessities as required according to INC like refrigerator, microwave, toaster , JMG & all the inventory required for cooking ,serving in the latest style .Students get an opportunity to learn & prepare the different types of beverages , diets for different age groups and in accordance with the patients need and disease conditions.
Computer Lab:-Computer Lab has LCD PC’s with the latest technology processors & accessories. Every students gets an opportunity to learn how to operate it. Internet facility is also available in order to keep the knowledge updated and search the topics & to remain in touch with the latest knowledge regarding different fields.
Community Health Nursing Lab:-Community lab contains all the inventory as per INC norms like community bags consisting of different articles, delivery kits, setting similar in accordance with village settings.
Maternal and Child Health Lab:-MCH lab comprises of delivery table , manikins, hospital beds, models showing different stages of labour and development of embryo, midwifery kits, different types of charts and toys as per development of the child.
A.V Aids Lab:-A.V Aids lab is having all the modern electronic teaching aids like LCD projector, OHP’s , television with DVD player, stereo, CD’s related to different topics and procedures, charts & transparencies of different subjects.
For the purpose of worship by the students there is well spaced “Gurudwara Sahib” in the premises of the college. Most of the students do their worship in the morning and evening as per their convenience. The students use to arrange Kirtan/Akhand path/Sehaj path from time to time in “Gurudwara Sahib“.
Build within the campus is of home setup which gives home atmosphere for the girls with living rooms, recreation facility, sanitary and good electricity & filtered drinking water supply for 24 hours.
Facility for indoor and outdoor games participating in various cultural programs organized by the college SNA unit. Educational visits to various states in India provide them to understand the transcultural aspect of the people of the state as a part of nursing education.
